Although all types of fake turf are made of stronger fibers, some have a greater strength than the others. You can find the best fake grass for you pet’s lawn by looking for certain things. First things first, identify a place in your backyard where you want to build a pet’s lawn. Ideally, the place should be cordoned off from the rest. A smaller portion of your backyard is enough for the job. Remove the grass and weeds from that area and take accurate measurements.

You can then go shopping for the fake turf once the measurements are complete. Try looking for fake grass that appears soft yet has stronger weaving and construction. You can rub your hands on the grass and apply pressure to check for strength. Also look at the drainage system and base materials. A professional installation will take care of these things but a do-it-yourself strategy requires extra caution. Don’t buy fake grass that comes with poor drainage as the stink will be unbearable after a day or two.

It is even better if you choose grass that needs irrigation to one that comes in a dry form. Watering the turf will remove the fecal matter and impurities from the grass with ease. You may otherwise have to undergo a deep scrubbing session that will also damage the fibers.

You can then allow your pets to enjoy on the artificial turf. They can play as long as they want and romp and roll on the grass but there will be no bare patches of sand that you used to see on the natural grass.
